It turns out the UHF P200 I have is in the 403-438 band. (Model H44RFU7120BN) Is there anyway to get the RX front end up in frequency without major surgery?
Thanks
-Tom

sorry to say no. The Genesis RF boards don't go far out of band. 2-3 MHz is typical. I am surprised a Fed split 403-438 goes up that far and the VCO stays locked. Cheaper to find a 438-470 split unit, they are dirt cheap now and plentiful. Just be wary of useless Ebay sellers claiming a Genesis or analog Saber radio covers 403-512 or 136-174. There is no such thing and the radios have different sub bands. Repeater builder has much good info on these series as does the main Batlabs site.
