XTS4000 Bottom connector pin assignments

Post by redbeard »

I am curious what signals are brought out on the Nextel Falcon-style connector. I am thinking of interfacing some random things but also considering making my own serial cable. Anyone have this info handy?

I'd also like to know the pinouts for the XTS5000 accessory connector, as I am thinking of crossing a few things over if the signals are there on the 4k. XTS4k Commander mic anyone? 8)
Look, it's not in my nature to be mysterious. But I can't talk about it and I can't talk about why.

Just updating my post with new found info:
http://batboard.batlabs.com/viewtopic.p ... ts5000+usb

That post shows the pinouts for the XTS5000, and below is supposed to be the XTS4000 pinouts.

1 GND
2 NC1
3 OPTB+_VPP
SPACE
4 RS232 TX USB+
5 RS232 RX USB
6 RTS
7 NC2
8 CTS
9 LH DATA KEYFAIL
10 EXT MIC
11 NC3
12 NC4
13 OPT SEL 1
14 OPT SEL 2
15 EXT SPKR
16 SPKRCOM
17 NC5

FYI, Nextel charger cords use pin 3 and pin 17. I got 6.3V out of my cig. lighter cord with pin 3+ and 17- so yeah they are worthless for powering a 4000 in case anyone was wondering.
