Looking into CXB 50 or 75 Watt MSF on 800

CxxCXB-7105BK

is this a 5k dev repeater or 2.5? I know the 896 (aka900 MHz) is a 2.5 deal.

I have older 5k dev radios that I'd like to use on the system and NFM will only be 512 and below so they say. The pair is a standard 813/858 conventional deal. Rebanding still a long way off around these parts.

Thanks

If I remember correctly, the "800" band, from 806 to 869 Mc. base/mobile is, and will remain (this time around), +-5.0kc modulation with a frequency tolerance of +-2.5ppm EXCEPT the range from 821 to 824Mc and the corresponding 866 to 869Mc which is limited to +-4.0kc modulation and a frequency tolerance of +- 1.5ppm.
The entire "900" band from 896 to 960Mc. uses a maximum modulation of +-2.5kc and a frequency tolerance of +-1.5ppm. As far as I know, that also will not change. Also, there is a "gray" area there as, I believe, the paging assignments in the "900" band still use +-5.0kc modulation. I don't know whether that will change or not but paging is pretty much a "dead horse" anyway so it really doesn't matter.
