On June 7th, the FCC released a NPRM regarding potential sweeping changes in GMRS.

While perhaps OT for Batlabs in one sense, it is very much on-topic in another as it may impact the use of Part 90 Motorola equipment in GMRS. A lot of the members of this board clearly do have GMRS licenses and use Motorola gear, including repeaters.
The purpose of this posting is not to start a big discussion here but rather to encourage everyone who might be affected to read the proposals and comment to the FCC. There is only a 30 day comment period, so start reading!
