In my previous post, i stated that i would stick with the MURS frequency but after reading about MURS i still cannot legally use it because my radios have removable attennas and can transmit 5Watts of power. I just need one frequency to operate on and i am fine. Some people say that you have to be in a business/industrial in order for the FCC to accept your application or give you a license. Some people say that you can just get a license whenever you want it. I am just a collector and i use my CP200 and SP10 like how people would use a FRS radio. I don't want to use FRS radio so don't suggest that i switch back. They break too easily and the battery life is bad for them. So i that is why i upgraded to the CP200 and SP10. I just didn't reliaze that you need to get an BRS license. So i just need someone to say that do you need to own a business or industrial in order to apply for an license. Also i need someone to tell me do you need to use them for business use or industrial use.

Just to let you people know
I don't own a business.
I am not using these radios for business or industrial use.
I only use my radios for personal use.
My radios are in the VHF band.

Thank You very much and have a nice day. I am sorry if this is not posted on the right forum or whatever.

Please consult this site of the FCC for the information you're asking about:

Now, in combination with the information you have previously been given on this board you should be in a
position to understand what you can and can not be licensed for. None of us here has the power to
change the Federal rules so please don't complain about them. The fact that you obtained two radios
before you knew anything about the licensing regulations was your doing and it appears that there is no
easy way out of that situation except to sell the radios, but that's entirely your choice.
