Problems with CP200 and SP10

Post by qqcca »

So i have 3 radios, CP200, SP10(#1), SP10(#2)

CP200: I think there is something wrong with battery or the radio because the battery seems to be draining when the radio is off. It would be fully charged when i put it away and the next day it would be dead. I have a rapid charger and i charge them with my rapid charger so is that the problem or what. I bought a new battery and it was doing that so is it the radio or the battery? I did some experience and i removed the fully charged battery from the radio and the next day the battery would still have juice in them. So is this normal or is it not. Is there a way to fix it or not.

SP10(#1): For this radio, I think something is wrong with the Rx. I can transmit and recieve on this radio but sometimes i couldn't recieve. The radio are in the same room and the freequency/ PL switches would be same on both radio and this radio still couldn't recieve without pressing the monitor button. (sorry about grammar mistakes). Is it possibale to have this fixed? In order to have the radio able to recieve i would have to open up the radio and get to the frequecny selector which is under the battery and move them around and put them back on the same frequncy. After i do that, i can transmit and recieve but when the CP200 talks, right after it the radio cannot recieve. Is it suppose to do that or not?

SP10(#2): This radio doesn't have much major issues. The thing is that sometimes when you transmit on this radio, what you hear on the other radio is static. Everything is set on the correct freq/PL switches. When the radio is recieveing messages it would also be static. The only way to resolve this problem is to turn off the radio then turning it back on again. Sometimes it would work but sometimes there would still be static when you Tx and Rx. It happens after the radio is on for about an hour. Is it suppose to do that and is there a solution to it?

These radios are operatable!

Thank You very much and have a nice day =D

Take the radios to a Motorola Service Shop for evaluation and, if necessary, repairs. Solving your problems with them is beyond the scope of this Board.
