spectra DTMF phone list can not be accessed

I just bit banged a spectra , for A9 head the head shows up , CRC is ok , this might not be related, how ever after i did get the phone list started and programmed the radio I tested DTMF it works fine. but the numbers are not correct for what we need. I go back into the RSS to change the phone list and F7 is not allowed ? nor can I change DTMF Encode Unlimited

might i have a CRC error in the radio ?

what would be a easy way to blank this and fix the unit ?

this is a 50w VHF unit A9 /w DEK can I read a 110W and write it onto the 50W to clean the firmware ?
