Hello, I was told that you cannot program an XTS5000 with anything other than AP 9.01.02 because you will loose FPP. Is this true?

If it is a 5Axx flash with Q52 only this is correct, anything above 9.xx and you will lose the FPP. The trunking will still program just fine.

Now if you have a radio with both Q52, and Q53 the trunking will not work.

It must be true... Without reading or writing the radio, I viewed the codeplug in the newer CPS and FPP wasn't an option in the menu select. So I guess I'm screwed, lol.
