is it possible to narrow band analog spectra, saber, and desktrac radios? asking because they may be narrow banding gmrs, de licensing it and possibly removing repeater authorization.

I'm pretty confident that none of those can operate 12.5kc channels.

And just in case it crossed anyone's mind, manually tuning the deviation to 2.5KHz won't fly, the transceiver won't be type accepted.

The only true way to check is to run the type acceptance number through the FCC database. BTW all those kits out there to make the radio narrow-band are illegal per the FCC, unless you want to pay for a type acceptance renumbering.

Does that include the gm300 OEM narrowband kit?

I don't know whats in the kit, but unless the type acceptance number on the radio in question is in the FCC database as being narrow compliant, you are wasting your time and money. There have been numerous posts to that effect here and at Radio Reference. I know sucks don't it?
