R1225 link radio FAIL......

Guys,
I have been fighting with a couple of GR1225, trying to get it to accept a CDM1550LS+/CM300/PM400 radio as a rf link. With the CDM, everything works well, except the CDM will not tx a PL or DPL. The CM/PM radios each have their own issues, mostly with causing the R1225 to lock in tx mode when a signal is received on the link radio. Also, with the CM/PM the audio passed from the link radio to the R1225 is poor/low/non-existant. All units are in working order (assumption based on the number of different radios tried) and have latest firmware. This system is a point to point link of UHF repeaters operating in the high 464 range using low wattage link radios in the low 450 range. This system was of course sold and previously installed by someone else. Only constant in this is the GR1225, I will be trying different units next in case I selected a funky unit. My cable and programming is based on the below referenced link:

Thank you, FatBoy.
