MTS2000 Model 2/3 Screen Resolution?

Post by Zach489 »

Hey all,

is there a way to adjust the screen on the Model 2 and 3 jedi's? As it is right now I have to tilt the radio back to read the screen and it's a pain in the neck. I wasn't sure if it was similar to the Astro Sabers where you have to go inside the radio and adjust it that way, or a different way.

thanks!

Last time I had one open I seem to recall there being an adjustment pot next to the screen on the display/button board. I'm not sure if that's what it's for, but if someone can confirm I'd like to turn up my contrast a little too.

some of the older display boards had the adjustment pot for contrast, it's on the front side right above the display- but most of the Jedi's I have are newer and do NOT have such a pot on the board. You'll just have to open your MTS and carefully disassemble the front cover to access it. Then plug it into your radio while apart, power it up, and adjust to your preference if it's present.
