what is a good price to pay for one? i don't want to wind up paying too much $$$.

i have been thinking of biting on the ones joe has but it seems pricey for something that will only be good from 146-148 mhz

$300 for six 110W radios SHIPPED isn't bad when you consider how extremely heavy each unit is. He's eating quite a bit in shipping charges.

Factory range for a VHF-Hi unit is 146-174 iirc. In any event, they'll do the entire 2-meter split no problem with just a software hack.
