I'm new to the board. Hello to all.

I came here to ask assistance with a problem which I have been unable to find an answer.
Looking for information for a repeater which has a series type of "MP".
Can anyone please tell me what the MP series is? Or possibly point me in the direction where this info could be found.
The entire model number of the unit is: B93MPB3100

If my memory is correct, I believe that what your talking about is a 6 foot rack with Motrac type
radio equipment. Might want to take a peak at the batlabs.com site and go to the specific radio
model number.

I use to have a 300 watt lowband package that began with the B93, but can't recall the rest of the
model numbers.

Motracs are 40+ years old. Most are in landfills by now.

The B93 has 8560 tube type finals.

A B93 Micor would be a B93RCB.

I don't recall an MPB. Obviously it had PL, was really high power, and worked the 150 band. Probably a paging station of some kind. I don't recall any mobile phone systems being licensed for more than 100w, but there may have been exceptions in very remote parts of the country.

Yup, they work very well if you don't push them hard. Use to get all the paging transmitter pulls of
the 8560 tubes. They were still good, but you couldn't get the full rated 300 watts out of a pair
of them. The conduction cooled PA would almost last forever. The big headache with them was the
big adjustable screen voltage variable resistor on the front panel.

My mistake in my post I said a B93 and meant to say a B91 for low band.

Batlabs has never posted any info on these radios. Even the repeater builder didn't seem to have
any info. I collected a few of the manuals over the years, but they are in a storage unit about
120 miles away from me.

A quick use of the google yields the B93MPB is a late version Motrac base station just before the Micor took over.

Thanks to all for the help. It does appear to be fairly old. Some of the dates I found on the machine are back in the late 60's.

It does have a 2 tube pa which are 4cx250 tetrodes if I remember correctly. Plans are to bring it back to life as a ham repeater if possible. I'm sure there may be better machines, but this is all I have at the moment so it will have to do.

I fairly new to this whole board posting, so please look over my mistakes.
Would post some pics if I could figure out how. Can email pics if anyone interested. I did manage to find a operators/service manual, so that may help some.
