Hello all,

What is the lowest/oldest or first Host/DSP/firmware revision that accepted flashcode option "Q806 ASTRO IMBE Digital Operation" on the 1meg Astro Sabers??

I did not keep up with the updates but please let me know the first/oldest firmware revision that accepted option Q806.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you need at least HOST 5.xx for IMBE/P25?

All the HOST 4 controllers I've encountered had corresponding DSP5 firmware and were typically analog-only. I think I had one once that would do VSELP.

A friend once had an ASTRO Saber 3 with Host 4.01 and DSP 6.xx. It did IMBE fine.

I agree.I have a Astro Saber with the same host and DSP as above and it does IMBE.
