I am looking for information for a cable conection from the Pyramid to a Motorola lowband X9000. I have the print out from Pryamid to do this however his cable puts the pyramid in constant transmit. I tried several pot adjustments but nothing worked.
Thanks for any advice
Mike

Have you set the jumpers and programmed the the SVR according to app note?

Hi Jim
Yes I've programmed the SVR according to the application notes and the jumpers have been set. I've turned off the sampling at first but then I couldn't key the X9000 throught the Pyramid as it was constantly keyed. With the sampling on I could worked back and fourth using the Pyramid, but of course that was because the Pyramid transmitter was being interrupted. I noticed that the application notes are setup for the UHF X9000, so I am wondering if the Lowband X9000 (I know the control will work on either) pins at the radio end are going to a different layout in the radio than the UHF one.
Thanks :o

No, they don't. Low, high, UHF, 800 conventional Syntor X9000s are identical except perhaps for levels.

Call Pyramid tech support if you are still having issues, and they can help you on the phone.

Do you have the Pyramid alignment and test adapter? Also, the app note is AN172. Are you using the correct note?
