Ok, so I got a new dept issued M5, and a week after having it i awoke to it going off this morning notifying me that it was dead even tho it was sitting in the cradle..... So i took the pager out and replaced it back into the drop in charger and 3 minutes later the charging light went from red to green... Take it off the charger and within 5 minutes its dead... tried a different outlet same results, even tried charging the battery on the battery bay and still same thing... Any ideas?

Could be a battery issue - a few on my dept were doing that. The pagers were brought back to the dealer who took care of it. I am not sure exactly what was done. Bring it back to whoever handles your radios.
