Hello all..
I have a 900 GTX mobile that won't read or write. When prompted by the RSS, the "rss" shows up on the screen, but the RSS then says comm failure. RSS works fine on other GTX's. Bought it this way with the known problem, but thought I could fix it. Any easy fix or is it parts now? Otherwise radio works fine. Tried separate head...same issue. Looked all over it for bad trace or solder with a jewelers loop...nothing obvious.

CR151 is about the only part that isolates the radio's TX data from the BUS+ line. Obviously the BUS+ is getting RX data as the radio is displaying "r55".

On my manual, CR151 is a dual diode and is under the board along the front edge, to the outside of the connector that goes to the control head.
