Anyone ever hear of a mid-band MX-300? I wasn't aware that MX's were ever made on any bands other than VHF high and UHF.

Any thoughts on this subject will be welcome.

I think that if you do a search on this Board you will come up with references to MXs in the 66-88 mHz Euro midband. One of the threads appeared in the recent past, maybe four or five weeks ago.

We also had mid band VHF MX's in Australia.

Yes.. they did... I used one as an MP in germany in the mid-Late 80's, most of our stuff was HT500 low band, but the Airforce SP's had MX-300's in the mid vhf split we used for interop at times...

back before gov liquidation... you could get some listed in the DRMO catalogs.

I even have a mid-band HT220 on 86 MHz. Not exactly useful in the USA but an unusual collectible.
