Hi,

I ordered 2 new batteries for my ht1000's from a local Motorola dealer. Would love to hear your thoughts on what I got for my money.

After selecting the battery I thought best for the job, I ordered 2 HNN928AR's. Today they arrived and the 2 date codes made me think, did I get a bum deal here?

First battery was made, 102.
Second battery, 522.

Would you return the 522 with a "I don't think so buddy!" In the great white north, these cost me $150 per, so I expect new stock.

Maybe I'm being a little bitchy.

How about return them both and buy them from me for $50/ea? Seriously though, 102 is current production, 5xx is new old stock.

Looks like both batteries are old stock. 102= week 2 in 2001 and 522= 22nd week in 2005.

Current production on HNN9028AR are coming out with 102 date codes. I have some here. I don't believe Impres existed in 2001.

For $150, they better be little fuel cells or something. You got hosed!
