Double check on my Consolette setup
Posted: Fri Sep 24, 2010 9:03 pm
So, I've read through the RCH3000, CDN1337A and the Astro Spectra Consolette manuals- and its mostly still greek to me.
I did however get them all to (finally) play nice this evening- in other words- I made them all work!
Now, before I go transmitting, I was wondering if anyone would be able to offer me some assistance, to make sure I am not about to blow anything up...
Equipment I have:
Astro Spectra Consolette W9 version (no control head)
RCH3000
CDN1337A Digital Junction Box
(and of course, all necessary power cables/wires, DB25 and CAT cable..)
I know the CDN1337A plugs into accessory 2 on the consolette- where should I plug in the RCH3000 on the junction box?
Also curious- what settings should all the DIP switches be set to in the consolette? (and, are there any in the junction box? I saw a reference to the possibility- but I don't want to start tearing into things if I don't need to...)
And finally- when its all plugged in and working- how the heck do I turn the power off? (other than unplugging it...)
Sorry, its late, I've been up far too long, and I am sure i missed quite a few things in the manual. Please go easy on me. Thanks for any advice/tips in advance.
