XTS and XTL 2500 Narrow Band Programming

Hi all,
I was looking for some information on the experiences that people may have had with narrow band programming of the XTS and XTL 2500 radios. I am installing an analog UHF system to replace a wide band one and currently we have pre-emphasis and de-emphasis enabled on our existing Astro Spectra radios with really good audio quality. Basically I was looking to see what peoples experiences have been with audio quality and whether emphasis was needed or recommended for a narrow band system. In the end it's probably going to come down to what sounds right to us but I was trying to get a heads-up so I don't have to go back and reprogram 130 radios.
Thanks,
Joe
