I am finding the audio to be low on some narrowband channels. Does anyone know of any settings in the CPS that will help with this? I have the channel spacing set to 12.5. Thank you for any help!

I found I had "Ultra Narrow Intermediate Freq Filter" set to 5.76 kHz. I set it to 7.8 kHz and the audio seemed to improve.

Noticing the same here. Even bought a new speaker for the radio. Same result. Then I noticed the Ultra Narrow Intermediate Frequency Filter" was set to 5.76 kHz. I changed it to 7.8 kHz, but not noticing much of an improvement. Might have to test in the field to tell for sure. Another radio I have doesn't have this issue. Just this one. The issue I'm having is that when outdoors and with no RSM attached, I have to turn the volume up to 75% (or louder) to be able to hear the audio. With an RSM, everything is fine. Even with a new speaker assembly, same thing. I've scoured CPS and can't seem to find anything in the Rx arena that might be the problem. Or am I missing something? Anyone have any clues/tips?

Have you increased your receive audio settings globally? Go to radio configuration/ radio wide and check ur rx audio control. I don't know why motorola calls it treble control because my test shows it brings the entire rx audio bandpass up by the selected DB level, not just a certain frequency range. You should be able to set the internal speaker level to match the external speaker Mics level.

Where under Radio Wide are you referring to? I see the "Audio Option" setting, but all I can configure there is "Rx Midrange Equalization", "Concurrent Rx Enable", and "Tx Digital/Analog Balance". All of those are disabled/off in my radio.

I'm not seeing any settings with respect to "Treble Control" or "Internal Speaker Level". Where are you seeing those?

This is for an APX 6000, though the problem you described on your 5000 is the very same problem I'm having.
