LCS2000 340-390MHz FM????

Post by g8tzl2004 »

I have an LCS2000 which is "P" band. Its currently programmed with simplex freqs between 340 - 390MHz. I'm not sure of the exact full coverage but P band is 336-410MHz.

I always thought that this allocation was mainly AM Military UHF Airband?

Anybody know who uses FM from 340-390MHz??

The Federal Government, for one, and many milsat base stations are in this range. Also, our local Navy base (in Nevada) has radios in their aircraft in this range running FM.
