Post by tuckerm »

I'm trying to determine if this is a VHF, UHF, or 700/800 radio by the model #: m21ksm9pw1an

Any idea? Thanks!

VHF
Kilgore: Smell that? You smell that?
Lance: What?
Kilgore: Napalm, son. Nothing in the world smells like that.
Kilgore: I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end...

Sweet, thanks guys!

I've got two final questions (I just got this radio shipped today, I'm anxiously awaiting it!):

1) Programming cable. Since it's a mid power, do I need a special cable or will the normal XTL-5000/XTL-2500 cables work?
2) Mounting. The radio I'm getting doesn't have a bracket for the remote head. Anyone got a part number or a link to where I could get one?

Thanks again!
