Greetings all
Got a problem in a Motorola GM-340 VHF, it doesn´t power UP !!
I know a few tricks for GM-300, in this situation, but looking to the Gm-340 board, not the same at all !
I do no know what have caused this in this radio. Assuming the polarisation + - in the Power cable is the same has for the Gm-300, do not know what to check !
Any help ???
thanks

Hello Elmano. The Gm340 is similar to the CDM series in the US. Yes, the power cable is the same. Other people have experienced a no power up problem with this model.

Have you checked to see if it's programmed for ignition sense by putting 12V on pin 10?

That would be +12V. This radio is negative ground.
Telex has an excellent diagram of the CDM series accessory plug in section 4.

You can have a radio with a corrupted firmware inside.
Try to read the radio. If it works, the firmware should be ok and you should program the radio with a default codeplug from the CPS folder.
