Astro 25 fail 01/82 error

Is there a work around for a radio that gets this failure that just will not take a codeplug with out sending it to depot. Basically when I try to write to the radio, I get a HArdware failure on the Cps. It would be so much easier not to have to send it to depot

If its caused by firmware ver 11, the corrupt area of the codeplug is not overwritten by cps, so the short answer is no send it to the depot.
