MC 2100 displays c:1 a:2222 on pwr on

Just turned my newly bougth MT2100 on and the display shows just C:1 A:2222. model: M01rhn9an8an
It allows me to a enter a new number for C but only accepts 1. How do I get on from here? Just wanted to make sure the set is working before attemting programming for 70cm amateur use.

The radio should be ok.
You have to program it first because there´s only the default codeplug in your radio!
Always use the 2100 series DOS rss for the mobile 2100 radios!
