Is it possible to program a gr1225 repeater via a mobile or portable utilizing a DTMF or othr tone format. I have the manuel and refernce is made to optional interfaces for multiple PLS for use as a community repeater and use for telephone interface but I did not see this as an option.

If the GR1225 channel switch involves different rx frequencies, the most logical way to approach this is with a separate control channel receiver and one of the Midian DTMF decoder addon boards to interface the control rx with the accy connector on the GR1225. If you're switching rx frequencies using the GR1225 rx audio feeding a DTMF decoder board that could lead to a merry mess because you'd not know where the GR receiver was listening in the event of an error.
