I need to find out where Pin 7 and 11 go inside the radio. I am lacking the 16 pin connector's to finish off a radio project I have going and need to wire something up for my audio.
Regards,
-Frank C.

I know that schematic Bill, I use that faithfully for the 16 pin connector. The question was where do those pins go INSIDE the radio.

Oh!
In that case ground is ground and pin 7 can be picked up anywhere inside the radio. Rx audio aka discriminator audio aka the top of the volume control is towards the front of the board. I don't recall the device or the JU header it ultimately connects to, but you could ohm out the top of the vol pot and find it on the front panel header.
or, if you wait until tomorrow, I'll try to remember to remember to look it up for you.
or, you can pm me with a mailing address, and I'll try to find a 16 pin plug in my vast supply. I'm pretty sure there is one sitting around with bow and your name on it. Santa might be able to deliver it early. Ya never know.

Part 2 of 4 of the MaxTrac Detailed Service manual covers all of the logic boards. It can be downloaded from
http://www.repeater-builder.com, Motorola section. The HLN9313A board (the only one with the 16-pin accessory connector) is the last board in that file. Follow the various pins in the schematic to see where they go.

Pin 11 on the accy connector is from JU551 B, the top of the volume control thru a 560 ohm resistor.
