Ok, here's my situation. I have in service in my rescue truck at the FD a Motorola Syntor Systems 9000 Dual Head w/ the Siren Option. I am planning to take this radio out and install a new Motorola APX7500 mobile with the O5 control head. I know the APX Line has the ability to interconnect a siren to it. So, my question is, can I interconnect the old siren that is in use with the Syntor to the APX and if so, what do I need? I know I will need a DEK box because the Syntor Control Head controls the siren now. Anyone have any ideas's to help me out?
Thanks,
Nick

First I hope your APX7500 is remote mount. You are going to need a HLN1241 DEK (I think that is the part #), control head to dek cable, brackets to go from the control head to the DEK, a Spectra siren cable. If your siren box is HLN1185A it won't work. Pretty sure B revision or later will work but Motorola will tell you that you need the latest and greatest, HLN1439D. I'll dig up some part numbers later tonight if I have time.

I have that. I just don't know what I need in regards to parts.
