Batboard

I attempted to hex edit my XTS3000 software today, and when i tried to enter the frequency I changed it to the CPS wont allow for it. I originally went in and found the 470 and the next band limit 520, 482, and 491. After I found these I converted 485 to hex and replaced the 470 hex with it. I then saved the exe opened a codeplug and it did not allow me to enter 480. After editing the file several time thinking I much have done something wrong with no luck. I then went through the software and changed all instances of 470 with 485. After searching through the exe I found no more instances of 470. I then went into CPS and still it wouldn't allow me to enter 480.000. I am currently running CPS R05.03.00. Does anybody know why this isn't working?
