Batboard

Hi All,
First of all I have to say that I am newbie for the board so it might be a stpid question sorry if so. Here is my problem: I have Gp300-5T which has key pad on. I am trying to program with 5Tone downloaded from net. When I started the program it prompts that ‘Failed to find correct patch file’. When I use Gp300IVG radio responds and code plug segments advances however at the end error message ‘Code plug Error 53’ pops up. Please help me thank you in advance and my best 73’s.

Hi Guys,
Switching to newer version of RSS partially solved the problem. Now I can read the radio however can not write the frequencies to the table yet radios range is not suitable for HAM use. What shoul I do? Any suggestions are wellcomed and my best.

Have you tried the shift trick? How far out of band are your freqs?

Radios minumum frequency starts around 438 MHZ and goes somewhere 460 MHZ which is not good for HAM use. I tried to shift trick with no luck. When I accsess the frequncy table and to write some frequency radio promts it is a receive chanell radio only so can not write better to say can not coppy row1 column1 to column 2.
