Hello. I have 2 MTS2000 900 MHZ top display Jedi's that are very close in ser#, with the same fw & flashcode. I'd like to program them with a few ham freq's, & the CPS was modified to do this. In the old days with RSS, I'd program with F8, & clone with F6 . This kept the ser# & tuning data that was already in the 2nd radio. So I want to take the 1st radio, read it, add a few ham freq's, & program them back in the 1st radio. I'd then like to connect the 2nd radio & program that same info into it. Is there a clone function? Thanks for any help. GARY N4KVE

there should be a clone option under read / write to the radio. if no clone option just write it to the other radio, if it don't like it, it won't do it but it should if the model numbers match

When in the CPS software read radio 1 codeplug and archive it for safety reasons.

Now make your necessary changes in this code plug and program it into radio 1.

Hook up radio 2 to the program cable and make sure the radio is powered on with fresh battery.

In the CPS software click Tools>Cloning>Clone Radio

A cloning menu box will appear, click button >Read Serial Number

When the Serial Number is properly read and updated in the cloning menu box
you can click on the Program Radio button, but make sure if you want to change
any other parameters in this box they are changed first.

Radio number 2 should program with no problem.
