I would like to know how to open a HMN 1056D microphone. Can someone please help?

I did find the link. I also read about the freezing method of opening the mic.

Funny, I asked this same question a year ago, & someone suggested putting the mike in the freezer. I thought it was an attempt at humor, until I read the link, & saw it identical, word for word. In my case the GTX could be jumpered in the back to do the same thing. GARY N4KVE

Freezing the for two days in the freezer, then hitting it with a small rubber mallet broke the seal.

I just throw them in the trash when they are broken.... Why waste time on a $35 mike?
