The only thing I've ever seen control-head wise for the XTVA is the HHCH.
M/A-COM/Harris does have an option for some of their MVA's that allow you to use an Orion control head on their MVA, but that's an entirely different product line.
No dice on such for Motorola, as far as I know.

We have done this with several ambulance services working on tight budgets who are needing to comply with DHEC as far as the requirements for having radio usage access in the back of the ambulance. We use the 25 pin accessory connector at the bottom of the XTVA. I would strongly reccomend that you use shielded cable running from the 25 pin connector to where ever you want to mount your speaker and mic. The problem for you is the fact that the guy in the back of the ambulance doesn't need to change channels on the radio which you would most likely want to do but if you just need to run one channel at a time than this option will work for you. We are using a standard motorola rj45 type modular connection palm microphone and a motorola amplified speaker powered by 12 volts. Not the newer style black speakers with the volume pots but the more square looking brown ones and sorry but I don't have the model numbers handy now. You will however need to replace the circuit mounted volume pot on the speaker with one of the same approx value that you can mount into the speaker housing.
Good luck!

So theres no way to connect a remote radio head to the xtva? I can only do an extended microphone or hhch???
I was hoping there was some way to just modify and plug a remote head like a spectra A7 or xtl5000 into the xtva, seems like it be possible , but I’m no radio guru. I have a hhch but would like a fixed head in my console, and all I have is the xtva, I won’t be issued a mobile.

No - no remote head for the xtva exists and an XTL head of any kind will not work, sorry but that's it.
