hey guys i really have two programing

1. i've been searching around and think i am correct in that there is an xp version of cps for a gr1225 repeater ... we have an old one and want to update some of the programed channels, and i'm thinking i'm also correct that a ribless cable will work if appropriately pinned out?

2. we also have a newer xpr8300 repeater that is just used in analogue (all be it not in over a year and a half) but it is set for 25khz channel when all of our ht's have since been updated to 12.5 and i need the programing software for it as well -- can it only be programed thorough accy connector on rear? or is there firmware that allows it to be networked and accessed that way as i know it has an ethernet port???

i've been searching on mol but can't seem to find the correct part number or search category to bring up the software listed for either of these items. --- THIS IS ALL I'M LOOKING FOR THE CORRECT MOST UP TO DATE SOFTWARE ITEM NUMBER TO ORDER.

We have the cps for our 70+ ht1250's but i don't think it will read or work with either of these repeaters. I need the xpr one most because at least the gr one has all 4 of our repeater pairs programed in and although only one can be used at a time it makes for a fluid transition to our various needs where as the xpr is locked to one set and sure would be nice to be able to use it on any of our licensed pairs ?!?

thanks i feel like a dummy but before i made a phone call or started else where i figured i'd come here first always got great help and advise here what a wonderful resource this place is !!!

The GR1225 uses windows RSS for M1225 and the latest version runs on the XP. They did not call it CPS back then.

The Pgm cable is the same as the Maxtrac/Radius mobile cable, 8 pin RJ45 male connector.

For a MOL listing of all programming software, go to Resource Center -> software ->general information. For the XPR Mototrbo, you need RVN5115E, Global Mototrbo software.
