I was poking around MOL and found this:

ALT: XTS2500 IP67 SLIM LIION 2100 (NNTN7554)

Does anyone have one? Is it thinner than the standard battery and like the HNN9013?

Just sent a request to my Mot guy to see what size it is. Since the
9013 is a 1500mAh battery & this one is a '2050 mAh', I'd expect it to
be a bit bigger, but not as big as the 7335.

Mebbe it'll be thin enough that our EMS ladies won't mind carrying the XTS...
of course, they also complain that the antenna is always snuggling in their
armpit too! :-o

I've got a couple of them on order... The moto guy couldn't tell me much about them. I'll give a report when they get here.

Fedex says it should be here tomorrow. Dunno what the holdup has been.

I'll give dimensions, etc once it gets here.

Finally!!

Ok here's the info - I've given the dimensions of several different Li-Ion batteries

HNN9013 (Non Impress 'HT1250' slim) 0.606" thick

NNTN7335A Large Impress Li-Ion 0.932" thick

New NNTN7554A Impress Li-Ion 0.733" thick - says 2050mAh

Think this one will might be a keeper for those who have problems with
the size of the 'standard' Ni-Mh & Li-Ion batteries.

Sorry it took so long - just got the battery today.

Ok, here's a picture from the bottom - gives the best view to see sizes.

Hmm, well, the /img.../img didn't work, so here's a link:

Is it flat on the back where the belt clip attaches or does it have the pregnant look like the standard battery?

It's pregnant, just like the other Impress batteries.

Here are the absolute max thickness (up where the beltclip hooks)

7335 1.04
7554 0.90
9013 0.77

Kinda wish they made a version without the belt clip... aah, then there is the
bench grinder. :-o

Mine came in the mail today. In my opinion, this is THE answer to a smaller, lighter, radio to carry if you want a battery made for this radio. The battery is slim and lightweight, and makes the radio more manageable. Yes, the Waris slim battery is even smaller and lighter, but it's not Impres and doesn't provide the XTS capacity readout.
