Running a dual band UHF/VHF system when transmitting on the UHF side of the rdaio, the VHF side also keys up. Is there any way to stop the VHF side from doing this.

A syntor x9000 dual radio system with a 9000 head will key up the non selected radio and transmit but only the exciter will be active and send out very minimal power out. This is normal. Is this what your spectra is doing or is it sending out full power?

Was this previously a working configuration or is this something you put together or replaced a drawer unit? If so, I suspect your MLM is to early to support this configuration--you'll probably have to upgrade to a newer version. I think the model specific section of bat labs details the MLM versions compatible.
