Hello everyone,
I currently have an XTL5000 with the 05 head directly attached to the chassis of the radio and want to at some point be able to remotely mount it in my vehicle. I'm looking for more information on what comes with 05 separation kit. If anyone could provide me with the model number of the separation kit, that would be helpful.
I tried searching for this information but was unable to find anything related.
Thanks,
Jameson

If you want to roll your own, here's the bare minimum you need:
PMUN1036 - O-series TIB
HKN6190 - TIB-Radio flex
HKN6169 - 17' remote cable (these also come in 10', 30', and longer but I don't have those part #s handy)
HKN6188 - Control head power/speaker cable
HLN1453 OR HLN1468 - CHIB (Very important - the specific part you need depends on your control head's part number. See here:
click )
HKN6191 - CHIB-control head flex
That's.. what, around $700 worth of parts? It's probably cheaper to order the complete kit, but last I heard those were strictly APB.
Note that this list does not include the screws to hold everything together or any brackets.

Yeah that's a bit pricey. I was just curious what exactly came in the kit for what I was paying for when I bought the kit.
Do you know the part number of the entire kit with all the pieces combined?
Thanks for the replies,
Jameson

It is not a regular part number, it is an APB (above prive book) number
H1818 if you have the newer head - List $325
H1824 if you have the old head (comes with replacement O5 head) - List $525
Neither come with the remote cable or head mounting bracket
If you order cable with above kit-
(list)

17' - $15
30' - $25
50' - $35
75' - $45
115' - $55
131' - $65
