MCS2000 2.5 KHz capable ?

Looking how to determine if a MCS2000 can do 2.5 KHz steps ? (radio not in possession) Looking at a VHF model with a 2002 manuf. date.

Yes. All VHF and UHF radios should be capable of 2.5kHz steps, though I have not worked with the 470-512 version.

IT is firmware dependant, but no one seems to know what the version cutoff is. I have run into an older one that did not do 2.5 steps.
