I am trying to understand the tone frequencies used on my Minitor IV pager. The frequency is 160.860MHz but I cannot figure out what group of numbers on the back of the pager represents the CAP Code. The numbers on the back of the pager are:
E-S040202350
RLD1006BBAAAB
Any help is appreciated.

Those numbers do not look like cap codes to me. The best way to get the tone info is to contact your local radio dealer especially a local Motorola shop or whoever programmed the pager for you. They will have your tone information and usually provide it to you if you paid for programming. A simple phone call will usually do the trick. If not your local Motorola dealer can read the info from the pager for you with software.

The Minitor IV pager is programmable, meaning that there is not necessarily a direct correlation between any numbers on the back of the pager and what is actually in the pager.
Motorola put a default frequency on the back of M4's, but most radio shops ordered them default programmed, and then programmed them to work on the customer's system.
The only way to really know what is in your pager is to ask the person (or shop) that programmed it, or the system or dispatch administrator. A quick call to the radio shop is all you should need to do to obtain the info.
BTW, earlier pagers could also be recrystalled and re-reeded (not sure if that is an actual word) to change the freq and capcode of the pager, so the label on the back of an older pager could also be wrong.
