Good Day All-


I found this on eBay this morning. A Saber with out switch 1 and 2 on the side. I know that these switches are not operational on the regular Sabers but I have always seen them included. They are missing on this radio. The ad comes from China.

Its 1989 made in January. I would think since its probably one of the first Sabers to come off the line I have no doubt that some improvements were made as time went on

The first models of Saber III's had a recessed key pad. The raised keys had problems with getting pulled out.

Early Sabers had no RAT buttons, which is what they're called. Later ones did. The Sabers missing the buttons are not uncommon.
