Am I blind or have I not seen an option in the "CPS" for a 'stay on last channel on zone change' in there anywhere? I set my knob to zone change and do channels by the menu and i want it to stay on the last selected channel as I move from zone to zone. I also wish there was a ZNUP, ZNDN and CHUP, CHDN menu option like in Astro25. Someone with some pull should run that up the ladder LOL...

You can assign Zone Up or Zone Down to a button.

It also appears in Radio Ergonomics Configuration/Radio Ergonomics Wide/Advanced you can select Zone Bank Operation Enhanced which with a long press of a ZUP or ZDN button it will jump 3 zones.

I think if you select Enhanced it forces the the ABC Switch to Zone Select.

There is no ZNUP or ZNDN only ZONE. Same with CHAN. Pushing either of these gives you a list to choose from, it doesn't compel the radio to the next zone higher or lower automatically. This is the menu I am talking about, not the buttons. There is an option to use a pair of buttons to dedicate to zone up/down but I don't want to tie up a hardware button to those functions.

Can't use zone enhancement because it does lock you to only 3 zones, A, B, and C.

I want to assign my zone selection to the rotary (which I have) and then select my channel via menu button (which I do) but I want CHUP and CHDN instead of only CHAN and I want the channel choice to persist as I move from zone to zone (which it does not.)

As of now the only thing that persists is the 'slot' I chose the 'virtual CHAN rotary' to be in. i.e. - If I was on channel 2 in zone 1 when I spin the dial to zone 4 i will still be on channel 2. Unless of course zone 2, 3, or 4 only have 1 assigned channel then in that case I would be on channel 1. When spinning back to zone 1 i will still be on channel 1 now, not on 2 where i wanted it to be.

This is a severe pain in the ass, and it's not something that I had to deal with in Astro25 due to the check box 'Last Selected Channel Per Zone Enable' on the Radio Wide/General tab.

FIX IT MOTOROLA...APX is a step up not a step down...

Anyone see any work on this? I didn't see any mention in the release notes that its a known issue, so I don't know if it's being looked at or not. How do you open an issue or ticket to resolve this stuff? Or since i'm not a 3 letter agency should I not bother trying?

Still waiting for QCII too and it's not in the release notes so who knows what's going on behind the curtain with the great and powerful Oz.
