Astro Spectra Plus ignition sense wiring question

I have an Astro Spectra Plus with two (green and orange) control head wires.
On older Motorola radios, one wire was for ignition sense and the other was for TX enable.
On XTL series radios, one wire is for ignition sense and the other is supposed to connect to a constant 12V source. This was also the subject of a install manual revision, as earlier version manuals didn't state this correctly.
Can anyone tell me the correct configuration for the Astro Spectra Plus?
