CM300 Ignition sense
A friend of mine has a VHF CM300 he wants to have turn on with the ignition . We originally had it with a relay on the power cable. Now he wants it with the power directly to battery + and the accessory on the back. I have the sense wire in pin 10 but we were having a hard time getting it to work like a 1225 or maxtrac. We looked allover the CPS for a settting for the igniton sense. He didnt want to open the radio to check for the pico fuse like a 1225. Is the fuse my only option or is there a CPS Setting?

Re: CM300 Ignition sense
Those things have sort of an "automatic" ignition sense, you connect the main power to constant power, and the ignition sense pin (10) to ignition switched power.
When you turn on the ignition the radio will detect the voltage and switch the radio to ignition sense mode, after that it will go on and off with ignition.
If you want to convert it back to not using ignition you disconnect main power for at least 10 seconds and remove the ignition lead from it.
