Finding CPS password using Hexeditor

Hi,
how to find the set cps password using the hex editor??
may i know the specific value to be search in the hex editor, so that i can trace the original password and still using the same without bypass/delete the original password??

It is possible. Try doing a search on the board for WinHex.
I have found it is usually near where the zone names are stored. Do a Ctrl-F and type in one of your zone names, and it should be pretty close in one direction or the other.

how about some more info like what cps for what radio and what version? and for most there are two ways, search the ram for the password, or alter the cps to bypass the password

im currently using cps ver 5...thats what i remember....
need the password to setting the pro5350 800mhz...(asia model)
n is it possible to transfer the setting from 5350 to maxtrax 800 mobile set??...
yeah,ive tried it...
but still cant find it..
i ve read somewhere that the password can be trace on certain value after some alphabet...
coz ive tried it before..sadly i didnt jot down the step...

you still need to tell us exactly what cps you are using, the fix is in different spots for different versions. and no, you can not clone a file to a maxtrac like that

Hi
I am trying to achieve the same thing, I have managed to see the password viewing the RAM and searching for it, Is it possible to modify the CPS to do this without searching the RAM.
I am using both Portable and Mobile ASTRO25 CPS R15.00.00
Any help with this is greatly appreciated.
