I know I have been reading these threads about this error but none have been about the same as my error. I have two Pro 7150's one VHF and one UHF both same vintage with firmware R03.01.00. I have software vR03.00.01-LA of which I bought with the radios many years ago. It has worked flawlessly. Now I have put these radio's on the computers to reprogram and get this error 'image has a block with absBlkID 39, but the layout does not have this block'. I've searched everywhere and can't seem to find the solution. My other software for my CDM's works fine. Any help would be appreciated.

do a search and hack your registry so your cdm software will read those 7150's and you should be ok. you should also think about updating the firmware on those 7150's, there's alot of options that have been added to the radios over the years. one other thing to try is opening up an old saved codeplug for those radios and try to write it to them?

I would love to be able to update my 7150's with new firmware but really don't know where or how to get it. My email address is not a generic.

you said you have the cps? the firmware comes free with your subscription to the cps, log into your account and download it. you'll need the flash adaptor
