Equipment Inventory Software

Post by twowayradiorepair »

Just wondering if anyone can suggest some inventory software for keeping track of two way radios and accessories. I need to instantly know on any given day what equipment is available. I need it to recognize that equipment coming back at 8:00AM on Monday is available for another job on Monday if that job starts after 8:00AM. If equipment is lost on a job I need it to delete it from inventory and then make adjustments to the available equipment for upcoming jobs. I need to be able to add a job (and its equipment needs) into the calendar and have it tell me how much additional equipment is needed to fill the jobs requirements should we not have enough of one thing or another in our inventory. Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

So, you want a spreadsheet / database coupled to a calendar. Have you done a search for rental software?

I would consider an MS Access database, which you could write yourself- or this: http://www.shopwaresoftware.com/shopware.html which may be more than you need?

We used Shopware for all our rentals (2way,satphone and temp repeater) for the last 15 years and has not failed us yet.
I only wish we had the Pro Link for Quickbooks in it now.
