MCS2000 Accy pin 11 audio

Searching through the archives it appears the audio on pin 11 of the MCS2000 accessory jack may be configurable between Filtered Audio or Discriminator audio. Some post mentioned this being configurable in the RSS. I don't see anything in the CPS or Tuner related to this. I did see a setting in the CPS for Control Stations which said it changed the function of several of the accessory pins. Does anyone know if this is the setting I am looking for? I am trying to use several MCSs for off-the-air recording from a trunked system. However, I am getting a lot of low-level signalling noise on the channel. Not sure if it is coming from discrimator output or what....

Correct, you need to set that pin to Filtered Audio.
The output from the MCS and many other M radios is Line Level un balanced, about 600 ohms.
And check the input configuration on your recording device. You may need an attenuator.
Be sure to use a non polar coupling capacitor in the pin 11 path.

I don't see anywhere in the CPS to set accy pins except for the before mentioned Control Station option. How do I set it for Filtered Audio?

As far as I know, you can't. Seems to be an option in the RSS/CPS for the overseas equivalents, but not in the North American MCS.

By default, it's set to muted/de-emphasized.
I've used them in recording applications feeding 600-ohm sound card inputs and didn't hear anything weird. Are you using Pin 10 for ground?
edit: If you need unmuted discriminator audio for Trunker or whatever you can use a LCS2000 or GTX.
