Batboard

I have a jt1000, that is a r (403-470), and need to convert it to a 450-512 unit. I have a PA for the high split, but need to change the model number so the RSS recognizes it as a high split. I've tried to do the hex edit that batlabs has one their website, but when I go into the channel programming, the RSS says it must change the bandsplit back to what it should be.

Any help PLEASE.
